Better Performance by Modifying a Car Engine

When you buy a new car or pre-owned cars, in some cases, you do not know how strong and fast cars. You can always try and ask before you buy it, but usually that some types of cars have a certain level of strength and speed. If you're one of those who want to express yourself when you're driving, or need to own a car with a more powerful engine, it is time for you to get the engine modifications.

modifications to the car engine is one way to pimp out your car. After you change to replace the machine with different abilities, your car will turn into a fast car changed. In addition, by modifying your car engine, you can only improve the performance of the car for the better. It may sound that bothers you so much, so after you change it, the sound would not be a problem anymore. In addition, you may want to change your car's engine because of pollution, because there are many cases that produce car engine smoke so annoying environmental health. Another thing that people really care about is the ability of machines to use too much fuel. That's certainly not good for your budget.

Maximizing Car Engine Power

Before we can start talking about tuning the engine and engine power and torque increases, we first need to have a basic understanding of how an internal combustion engine produces power. Therefore, during the next few pages of this section, we will discuss the basic concepts and principles of the internal combustion engine and a general term used to discuss modifications to the engine, such as volumetric efficiency, engine displacement and density of the air as all the engine power and influence performance. We also have a list of car modification terms that you can check the meaning of some terms we use on this site. Once we have a clear understanding of how the four-stroke engines produce power, we could move and start making our plans to improve engine performance.

Although there are two types of internal combustion engines, namely two-step engine and four stroke engines, we are only interested in performance cars, and because two-stroke engines are not used in cars, we will not discuss here the machine. Instead, we will be the focus of attention soely on four-stroke engine because the custom-car.us is all about car tuning and because cars use four-stroke engines instead of two-stoke engine. If you are looking for information on two-stroke engine, you could try How Stuff Works, or Wikipedia.
Rotary engine
Wankel rotary engine.

There are also many derivatives of four-stroke engines - diesel engines, gasoline engines, four-cylinder engine, six straight, boxer engine, or Wankel rotary engines, turbocharged engines, supercharged engines, etc. With the marked exception of the rotary engine, all four-stroke engines have a design basis of the same - they all consist of individual cylinder with a piston that is connected to the flywheel with the crankshaft, and they all use what is known as the Otto Cycle. This method is quite easy to discuss the concept of basic electric machine as we do not need to pay attention to ourselves with V and straight, horizontally opposed boxer and machinery. Instead the discussion we can and will be all about the internal combustion engine four stroke. In addition, the diesel engine has had resurgence in recent years and has become more than performance machines, especially turbo-diesel engine. Much of what we discuss here can be applied to a modern diesel engine but there are some specific aspects of engine modifications to diesel engines, for this reason we will discuss modifications to diesel engines and diesel engines themselves.
